A chainring built around one question: why should less weight mean less stiffness?
Hybrid construction — aluminium strength, carbon weight.
The Neutron chainring pairs an aluminium ring with a carbon fiber backing plate. The carbon component reduces overall weight while the aluminium maintains the structural integrity needed for consistent chain engagement. The result is higher torsional rigidity than a comparable all-aluminium CNC ring at lower weight.
Better front shifting, fewer missed shifts.
Torsional flex is the reason chainrings fail to shift cleanly. The Neutron’s structural rigidity reduces that flex, giving the front derailleur a stable, consistent platform to work against. Shifts are more direct, and the “won’t go up” moment becomes less common.
Two versions for two priorities.
The standard version is full black. The hard-anodised version adds a hardened tooth surface for increased wear resistance — and a Champagne Gold finish that looks the part. Same weight, same structure, longer-lasting teeth.
